There are 7 Honour Boards situated inside the Town Hall. The WWI total who served is 633. WWII Board lists 110 who served.
The first 2 Honour Boards for World War I were donated by Fairlie & Son and officially unveiled February or March 1917 by the Governor. He was in town to unveil the official opening of the Urangan Pier.
The second 2 Honour Boards for World War I were unveiled in late 1918 or early 1919. The third 2 Honour Boards for World War I were completed circa 2014 by the Wide Bay & Burnett Historical Society. Four of the World War I Boards have been named after serving Mayors. They are A Dunn, H A Reed, J Blackley & H J Hyne.
The World War II Honour Board was unveiled by Mayor Robert David McDowell who served as Mayor 1939 to 1950. Actual date of unveiling is unknown but was shortly after the end of World War II.
