Christmas Hills War Memorial In December 2014 the Shire of Nillumbik received Federal funding of $23,843 from the Anzac Centenary Grant Program to restore the Christmas Hills War memorial. Rob Mitchell MP for Mitchell announced the funding. Nine Christmas Hills residents served during World War 1 - two did not return.
