OUR NURSING HERITAGE - The Vyner Brooke Tragedy

On 12 February 1942, sixty-five Australian Army Nurses were ordered to evacuate Singapore to escape the advancing Japanese Army.  Along with many civilians, they boarded the ship “Vyner Brooke”.
