Lions Remembrance Park

Lions Remembrance Park (previously known as Boot Park) was officially opened and renamed on 27 October 1999. The Park features the following memorials:

  • 47th Australian Infantry Battalion Wide Bay Regiment Memorial
  • Bundaberg AFC and RAAF Memorial
  • Bundaberg Korean War Memorial (also dedicated upon the Park's opening on 27 October 1999)
  • Bundaberg National Service Memorial
  • Bundaberg Naval Association Memorial
  • Bundaberg POW War Memorial
  • Bundaberg Rats of Tobruk Memorial (situated across the street)
  • Bundaberg Service Women's Memorial
  • Bundaberg Vietnam War Memorial (also dedicated upon the Park's opening on 27 October 1999)
  • Milne Bay-Kokoda Memorial

The Park was offered as a memorial site by the Bundaberg Lions Club after discussions between the Club, local veterans associations, and the Council.
