World War 1 Honour Board in Trentham Mechanics Institute

A  comprehensive Honour Board hangs in the Trentham Mechanics Institute Hall. This was unveiled on Saturday 4th October, 1920. Mr. W J Anderson, chairman of the Welcome Home committee presided at the unveiling before a large audience.

 

The Trentham Welcome Home Committee was responsible for the production of the timber board with names in gold lettering set out in three columns. The middle column, under the heading

In Memoriam, contains 23 names.

In total there are 91 names on the Honour Board.
