Anzac Memorial Park dedicated in 1991
Hurstbridge Memorial Park was established in 1991 as a remembrance place for all wars. It sits at the bottom of Anzac Avenue and has a rock cairn for wreath laying. This memorial park is quite separate from the Hurstbridge Memorial Park and Recreation Reserve (see separate listing) which was dedicated in 1921 for the local community to remember those who fought in the First World War and for the use of the local community.
The Memorial Park on Anzac Avenue now has a new wall that will be used in the future once it is dedicated later in 2019 and further landscaping is done.
