This memorial was used for the 2015 ANZAC Day Dawn Service held at McQuade Park in Windsor. It was subsequently gifted to the University of Western Sydney (now Western Sydney University) by Windsor and Richmond RSL sub-branches, in July of that year.

It honours 136 (of the 137) HAC men that lost their lives in World War One, and is situated northeast of the Soldiers Memorial Hall (1928) and the Memorial Library (1954), all on the Hawkesbury Campus near Richmond.
