The Mildura RSL RAAF Memorial was dedicated on 20 May 2007 in the presence of Air Marshal Geoffrey Shepherd AO, Chief of the Air Force.

The centre piece of the Memorial is a life-size bronze sculpture of an airman commemorating all Australian Flying Corps and Royal Australian Air Force personnel who did not return from service. The sculpture was inspired by a RAAF pilot, Jack Mayall, who was tragically killed when he was shot down in his Hurricane over Malta.

Surrounding the rear of the Memorial are three black granite propeller-shaped memorials listing the names of the 61 Mildura district airmen who did not return, the 59 personnel who died while serving at RAAF Mildura and the 288 personnel who served at RAAF Mildura but did not return from service elsewhere.
