Men who didn't come home

* Alexander William Stinson was in the 1st Australian Light Horse Regiment. He was wounded in the chest at Gallipoli on 18th May 1915. Alexander died from his war wound on 19th May 1915 and buried at sea. 

* Alfred Ernest Main was in the 53rd Australian Infantry Battalion and was killed in action during the Battle of Fromelles on 19th July 1916. 

*William Thomas Moore was in the 18th Australian Infantry Battalion which took part in the battles at Pozieres in 1916. On 4th August 1916 William was wounded on the leg/thigh. He died from his war wound on 11th August 1916. 

* George Collins's grandmother on his mother's side of the family was the full blood Aboriginal woman from Mudgee area who was known as Diana Mudgee. He was in the 7th Australian Light Horse Regiment when it took part in the Battle of Bir el Abd on 9th August 1916. George was wounded during this battle and died from his war wounds on 12th August 1916. 

* Albert Wright was in the 31st Australian Infantry Battalion. He was killed in action on 23rd February 1917. Albert's body was not found. 

* Garner Victor Anderson (22nd Australian Infantry Battalion), * Thomas Frederick Rutter (20th Australian Infantry Battalion) and * Reginald Francis Smith (54th Australian Infantry Battalion) took part in the Second Battle for Bullecourt in May 1917 during which they all died. Their bodies were not found. 

* George Henry Bourke was living in New Zealand during the war and enlisted in the 2nd Battalion 3rd NZ Rifle Brigade. He was killed in action on 7th June 1917 during the Battle of Messines. George's body was not found. 

* Harold Campbell was in the 3rd Australian Infantry Battalion. He was killed in action on 7th October 1917 in Belgium. Harold's body was not found. 

* George Alexander Huggett was in the 34th Australian Infantry Battle. He was killed in action on 12th October 1917 during the battle for Passendaele Ridge, Belgium. His body was not found. 

* Harry Bunyan was in the 12th Australian Light Horse Regiment and took part in the Charge at Beersheba on 31st October 1917. Whilst the prisoners were being rounded up Harry was shot dead by a Turkish soldier. 

* Edward Lisle Jennings was in the 56th Australian Infantry Battalion and killed in action in Belgium on 18th November 1917.

* Victor Turnbull was in the 7th Australian Light Horse Regiment. He was killed by a bomb during an air raid in Palestine on 7th May 1918.

* Russell Radburn was in the 1st Australian Machine Gun Battalion. He died from war wounds on 8th May 1918 in France. 

* Edward Horace Huggett was in the 13th Australian Infantry Battalion. Edward was killed in action in France on 10th August 1918.

* Ernest Hyde was in the 10th Australian Light Horse Regiment. He died from malaria on 19th October 1918.
