Hermidale War Memorial Dedication

Mr. R. J. Doe M.L.A. for Sturt, unveiled a soldiers' memorial at Hermidale last Tuesday.

The school children were marched to the memorial, where they saluted the flag and repeated the formula.

Alderman H. Evatt, Mayor of Nyngan, presided.

Mr. Doe gave an appropriate address, and after that the school children, under their teacher, Mr. A. C. Rumph (himself a returned soldier), sang the National Anthem; in which the crowd joined enthusiastically.
