Kokoda (3rd Battalion) Memorial

Plaque attached to a concrete block displayed in the front garden of the Rocky Hill War Memorial museum.

This memorial was placed by Friends of Goulburn War Memorial Museum in May 2007. It has emblems of the Royal Australian Navy, Australian Imperial Force and Royal Australian Air Force attached across the top of the plaque.

It has the following wording:

THIS PLAQUE IS TO COMMEMORATE THE 3RD BATTALION FOR THEIR STRUGGLE ALONG THE KOKODA TRACK AND ALL SERVICE MEN FROM GOULBURN AND DISTRICT WHO SERVED IN THE NEW GUINEA CAMPAIGNS 1941 – 1945.
