In 2001 the Nundah Northgate RSL Sub Branch undertook a project to build a World War I Memorial Gallipoli Wall at the south side of the Toombul Shire War Memorial in Nundah Memorial Park.  The then Governor of Queensland, his Excellency Major General Peter Arnison AC dedicated this wall and re-dedicated the Toombul War Memorial, the World War I trophy on 14 April 2002.

In 2012 plaques remembering conflicts involving Australians prior to World War I and details information on conflicts during World War I were installed on the wall.
