Records show that ANZAC Day Memorial Services have been held in Nundah Historic Cemetery since 1921.    Veterans from prior to World War I, World War I and World War II are remembered in this cemetery.

In 1988 a small Memorial plinth was installed in the cemetery and it became the venue for the annual ANZAC Day Dawn Services.  This Memorial was refurbished in 2018 and now provides a very appropriate place for the Dawn Services and for community members to visit throughout the year.

The refurbished Memorial was unveiled by Cr Adam Allan, Brisbane City Councillor for Northgate Ward prior to its dedication on Remembrance Day, 11 November 2018
