Commemorates WWI 166 who served. The original Honour Board was lost at the School of Arts by fire (c late 1940’s). The board was remade & located at Howard Railway Station until closure. A new board was made with a few extra names added. This was located at Howard State School (c early 2000’s) and relocated to Howard Tourist Information Centre in 2017.

A folder is available to look up the service records of those listed. As Howard was a mining community at the time, many of those listed became part of tunneling divisions.
