The Toogoom and District RSL sub-branch is housed in a Vietnam War army soldiers’ mess erected by Australian Army engineers and lined by hardwood from the crates originally used to ship the building to Vietnam during the war. The RSL includes an extensive photographic and memorabilia display and is open to the public. The members encourage visitors to drop in and have a yarn while they enjoy the cordial atmosphere of the club.

The memorial commemorates the 25 who served in Vietnam War. There were 3 names added later.
