A simple memorial is set in a small park next to the railway line and Bowls Club. It comprises a marble rock (0.9m high) and plaque with an adjacent flagpole as its focal features, which are all surrounded by an exposed concrete aggregate base. The monument was dedicated on 19 November 1988. Each year an ANZAC Day commemoration service and wreath laying ceremony is held at the War Memorial.
