Recently the Commonwealth War Graves Commission has added the name of following merchant seaman to the Northern Territory Memorial at Adelaide River in the Northern Territory:

James Tynan, Australian Merchant Navy, son of William and Edna Tynan, Sydney, NSW.

Cabin Boy, M. V. Herstein (Norway), POW.

Died on M.S. Montevideo Maru on 1 July 1942, aged 16.
