I am a volunteer at the Coal Creek Historical Park Mining Museum and Anzac Room, which are located at the rear of the historic courthouse. The Anzac Room contains a number of World War 1 artifacts and displays including a framed photographic display of all WW1 volunteers from the Korumburra area which was created by local photographer A. Pam in 1919. The display is accompanied by a list of all surnames in alphabetic sequence, numbered to correspond with the individual cameo photographs. This list was compiled by the Coal Creek curator. The room also contains the framed Korumburra South Honour Roll which includes photographs of all WW1 volunteers from that area, and a computerised display featuring the four Dawes brothers, three of whom died in the Great War (one at Gallipoli 1915, the others in France 1916).
