The Spirit Orb Is the winning sculpture for the Eumundi Sculpture Prize 2015 themed "ANZAC Spirit: Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow"

The Spirit Orb is intended as a memorial to all those who fought in World War One and to invoke a sense of gratitude for the lives we now enjoy.

The 20 Eumundi ANZAC Soldiers who sacrificed their lives are represented by the 20 birds, their spirits soaring.  Climbing and playing on this sculpture is a symbolic gesture of thanks to those who have fought to defend our freedoms and a reminder that peace is a global responsibility that starts with peace in our hearts.

The hidden inscription - a silent prayer that we may learn from our mistakes
