This is one of two honour boards in the foyer of the Toodyay Memorial Hall commemorating Toodyay residents in the two World Wars.

As early as December 1915, the Toodyay Road Board had accepted designs from Wunderlich Co. Ltd. for the proposed Great War ‘Roll of Honor’ tablet, to be mounted in the Hall after the war.

The honour board was unveiled on 26 January 1920 in the Road Board Chambers (ie the current Hall foyer) by the Minister for Works W.J. George.
