A Loved One Remembered

Flying Officer Ian Stoeckel was killed in action 9th April 1943. Stockel was killed over the United Kingdom at age 20. Stoeckel was an avid sports fan who was the only son of Mr and Mrs O.H. Stoeckel of Glandore. A plaque in memory of him was placed in the rose garden by his family.
