Marion Lone Pine
City of MarionThe seedling of this lone pine tree was planted in commemoration of ‘the brave deeds and sacrifices of the ANZACS’. The planting of lone pines across Australia has become synonymous with the commemoration of the Gallipoli campaign. Another plaque dedicates the planting of this tree to all those that fell in WW1, WW2, Korea, Malaysia, Borneo and Vietnam.
