Sturt Memorial Gates Moved

The Sturt Memorial Gates were officially opened by Premier Sir Thomas Playford in 1953. Located at the Sturt Memorial Oval on Sturt Road, the cost of the gates was raised by the Marion Young People’s Guild over a 3 year period.The gates were subsequently moved to the Marion RSL on Norfolk Road in April 2001.
