Joined the Brigades on 18th June 1913 and rose to the rank of Third Class Fireman. Served at:

  • No 1 Station Headquarters
  • No 52 Station Campsie
  • No 11 Station Paddington
  • No 15 Station Burwood
  • No 17 Station Drummoyne

Resigned 15th August 1914

 

Enlisted: 17th August 1914, No 2 Coy AASC, 1st Inf Bgde HQ. "C" Company, 10 Platoon, 4th Battalion, Australian Infantry. Wounded in Action Dardenelles, BW Scalp 2nd July 1915. 

Killed in Action 15th April 1917 at Hermes, France, on his birthday.
