Enlisted: 15th January 1916, 5th Reinforcements / 31st Battalion, Australian Infantry. Embarked HMAT Anchises at Sydney, 14th March 1916. Transferred to 8th Company, Australian Machine Gun Corps, 4th November 1916. Joined Unit in France, 12th November 1916. 

Killed in Action at Bullecourt, 3rd May 1917

Buried: Queant Road Cemetery, Buissy, France
