Wounded in Action 4th October 1917, Belgium. Shrapnel wound, compound fracture right thigh, 4th Battalion, Australian Infantry

Died of Wounds 5th October 1917, due to multiple shrapnel wounds

Buried: Lijssenthoek Military Cemetery, Poperinge, Belgium
