Hunters Hill Council Honour Rolls

The Hunters Hill Council Honour Rolls are a series of brass plaques with names engraved and gilded, located in the main meeting room in the Hunters Hill Council offices. Above the plaques, is an Australian flag flanked by the Navy and Air Force Ensigns.

    INSCRIPTION

    Plaque 1:

    Lest We Forget.

    From the original ANZACS and the men and women involved in wars and conflict, we are left with memories of their deeds, and sadness at the sacrifices that are made. Let us never forget what they did, why they did it and who they did it for.

    The Battle of Beersheba, 90th Anniversary 2007 (Light Horse Brigade), WW I & II the Korean War, Malayan Emergency and Indonesian Confrontation, Vietnam War, Peacekeeping operations since 1947, conflicts, including the First & Second Gulf Wars and the War in Afghanistan.

    Plaque 3:

    Municipality of Hunters Hill World War II 1939-1945 Honour Roll. Dedicated on 23rd April, 2004.

    Plaque 4:

    Dedicated ANZAC 2005 to veterans of the Vietnam War 1962 - 1972 - 1975
