The Corporal Walter Laishley Spier Memorial consists of a polished red granite cross with a base on a larger rough-cut stone, set on a concrete slab within a low iron railing.

The memorial is located within the grounds of All Saints Anglican Church, Hunters Hill.

INSCRIPTION

In memory of Walter Laishley Spier Corporal of the NSW Citizens Bushmen who died for his Queen and Country at Capetown South Africa 23rd Jany 1901. Aged 26. Erected by his friends.
