A new era for our Veterans

The memorial is located in the Glenwood Community Centre (GCC) grounds.

The memorial is the result of the hard work of the Glenwood Progress Association (now called the GCC) and the Glenwood community to establish a plaice for veterans in the Glenwood & surrounding areas  

The leadership and effort by Mr Bob Bath (formally a stoker in the Royal Australian Navy), with the help the Department of Veteran’s Affairs, of the Bath family, Taria & Creagh Bunney and many more has produced a modern respectful site to commemorate the efforts of the military and police who served in conflicts or peacekeeping operations.  

The memorial has some community plaques and more are welcome. If the Glenwood community wishes to have a plaque added, contact the GCC for the application to do so.
