Private (Pte) Neville Douglas Boyd
Australian War MemorialStudio portrait of NX9677 Private (Pte) Neville Douglas Boyd, 2/3 Battalion. Aged 17, Cpl Boyd and his identical twin brother NX9694 Pte Keith Hamilton Boyd, both of Manly, NSW enlisted on 3 January 1940.
From 1940 to 1942 they served in Libya, Greece, Crete and Syria. Neville Boyd was promoted to Corporal (Cpl) and Keith Boyd to Sergeant (Sgt). Cpl Neville Boyd was discharged in August 1945, and Sgt Keith Boyd in October 1945.
