First Anzac Day Dawn Service at Toongabbie Cenotaph
Toongabbie Township GroupFriday 25th April 2025 marked the first outdoor Dawn Service at the new Toongabbie Cenotaph (Victoria).
Led by Scott Mitchell, the service included a speech by Dale Cupit who came from Townsville to talk about his life in the service, and a poem read by Toongabbie Primary School Students Drew and Zarah. Following the service was morning tea and Anzac biscuits and an opportunity for people to share stories and memories with each other.
The Anzac Day service was organised by the Toongabbie Township Group with support from the Lions Club of Wellington/Latrobe.
