Resurrected dedication

In the bushfires that devastated the East Coast of Australia during the Summer of  2019/20, the Rappville Community Hall was razed to the ground. With all of the contents too, such as the District's Rolls of Honour. The community of the town rallied around and rebuilt the hall, but it would not be the same without honouring the soldiers featured on the Rolls of Honour. 

In 2023, under the leadership of Harry Armstrong, a Casino based signwriter, all of the Rolls were meticulously recreated using old photographs and utilising the skills of many crafts people. The Wyan School & District Roll of Honour was able to be erected in the rebuilt hall later in 2023.
