This 17 metre long mural runs along the wall at the edge of the Community Complex, just in front of the RSL building. The steel structure was created by members of the RSL in the town's Men's Shed. It depicts the service of women from the Boer War to the present. The mural artist was Tim Bowtell, assisted by his son Sam. On the front wall of the RSL building beside the entrance is a large plaque entitled 'Violet Town and District - Honour Roll - Women who Served'. It goes on to list the conflicts, the different services, and the names of these local women. Central images include a portrait of Sister Vivian Bullwinkel beside a haunting portrayal of three women standing in water, suggesting the tragedy of Bangka Island following the sinking of the Vyner Brooke off Sumatra in 1942. Fittingly, the mural was dedicated on 16 February, 2024, the anniversary of the massacre of 21 nurses.
