This 40m-long low brick memorial wall, situated adjacent to the wartime parade ground of RAAF Station Narromine, mounts 33 plaques commemorating every graduate of No.5 Elementary Flying Training School RAAF during World War II - nearly 2800 men, or 20% of all RAAF pilots trained in the Empire Training Scheme. Another six plaques commemorate the RAAF and RAF units which were stationed at Narromine Aerodrome 1940-47.
